Ep 22: To relax or not to relax? That is the question

Welcome to the first extra episode of The Mane Cut! This week, Jade and Cataanda talk about the question that seems to be circling around again: to relax or not to relax?

Even though more and more people have returned to their natural hair, we’ve noticed the interest in relaxers ticking up again. But the real question is, why? Is it for convenience? Are people still struggling to learn how to look after their natural hair? Tune into this week’s podcast episode to find out what the team thinks. And if you have any thoughts, feel free to share them in the comments.

Book a 1:1 marketing call with our Founder

Marketing is one of the most challenging things for hair stylists to work on. With customers to see it, appointments to book, finances to juggle and admin to do, a lot of the time, marketing is pushed to the bottom of the to-do list, even though it’s so important for every stylist and salon owner to work on.

Luckily for the community, our Founder (Jade) has 11+ years experience as a marketing specialist and she’s now offering a free 1:1 marketing call to paid members of the community. You can chat to Jade about:

  • Branding and positioning

  • Choosing the right marketing channels (e.g. social media)

  • Creating impactful content

  • And more…
