Moira is a celebrity stylist and custom wig maker who is known for being one of the fastest wig builders in Hollywood.
Moira has over a decade of experience in television and film, while she’s now the department head of hair at Abbot Elementary, she has also been on sets such as Ru Paul’s Drag Race, Claim to Fame, Trixie Hotel, and many more.

For stylists 💇🏾♀️
Be humble and respectful to everyone on set. the person who is making your coffee one day, could be the person who gives you a job the next. Moira even explained that she gained referrals from people who were COVID officers one day and leading productions the next.
When Moira is looking for stylists to join her team, she needs people who can do children's hair as well as adults. If you can't do children's hair then you often won't be asked to come onto a job as they are just as important in making a story believable.
From shrunken wigs, to making emergency changes to styles in 15 minutes, there are so many instances that stylists will have to problem solve on the spot when on TV and film sets. This is something Moira is all too familiar with and a reality that many stylists will face as they break into the industry.
